What is the Shape the World Circle?
Shape the World Circle is a network dedicated to influence the world by having every individual inspired to be purpose-driven. Our members include individuals from CEOs, employees and students in Asia. Throughout the year we provide members with tools and techniques to apply to their own organisations. Members are guided by the Shape the World Circle kit to lead monthly Circle sessions and set up Shape the World Circles for their own organisations. We started the first Shape the World Circle in Bangladesh and continued the journey with circle sessions in Vietnam and Singapore.
What is the purpose of Shape the World Circle?
The Shape the World Circle is aimed to create an inclusive and collaborative community. All participants are seated in one big circle for each session, indicating that all members will be equal.
Who can start Shape the World Circles?
Anyone in the world can be Shape the World Circle organisers or Core Members, with the following exceptions:
- Shape the World Conference does not endorse controversial or extremist organisations.
- Shape the World Circles may not be used to promote spiritual or religious beliefs, commercial products or political agendas.
- Organisers may not affiliate the Shape the World Circle or Shape the World Conference brand with other conferences or with commercial endeavours.
What are Shape the World Circle Core Members expected to do?
Shape the World Circle Organisers or Core Members are encouraged to spread the the Circle ideas to their communities and moderate monthly sessions of Shape the World Circle. Core members of each circle meet up weekly and exchange experiences on how to be better Shape the World Circle moderators as well as review actions and feedback of participants to broaden the Circle.
